North Shore Health honored its employees, skilled nursing centers, and assisted living centers with the Star Awards at its Annual Meeting on Sept. 24. Congratulations to the winners!

Assisted Living of the Year: River View Lodge Assisted Living

This award honors an outstanding assisted living facility that exemplifies excellence in resident care, operational success, and community involvement.

Center Star Award: St. Francis Health Services

This award honors the center that consistently embraced challenge with resilience and determination, leading to significant improvements in care for the residents.

Leadership Star Award Director of Nursing: Julie Finlayson

Leadership Star Award Executive Director: Kasie Smith

This award honors individuals who lead by example, celebrate successes, and prioritize people in all their actions.

Social Star Award: Sheboygan Progressive Health Services

This award recognizes the center that demonstrates outstanding engagement with social media and community events.

Super Star Award: Laurie Edelman, Executive Director of Hammond Health Services and Heritage Court

This award honors an individual for their long-standing commitment (25+ years) and dedication to their center and/or North Shore Health.

Support Star Award: Alisa White, Director of Health Infomatics

This award celebrates an individual for their exceptional leadership and significant contributions to enhancing care within the centers and across North Shore Health.

Team/Big Cheese Award: Katie Bicok, Vice President of Success

This award celebrates the success of a POD in working together to create significant positive changes in care, culture, and team-based initiatives.

Success Star of the Year Award: Eden Lewan, Vice President of People and Culture

This award recognizes the Vice President of Success for exemplary leadership in managing their POD.
